In this interview, we speak with Christian Bernd from Karlsruhe about the autobiography of the Hohenzollern prince and Carthusian cardinal Wolfgang Schuler/Andreas von Hohenzollern “Life in the Subjunctive – 1000 Nights on the Street in Brazil”

The focus is on the accounts of the author and Carthusian cardinal Wolfgang Schuler, who was born in 1948 in Auckland, New Zealand under the name Andreas von Hohenzollern. Personal experiences, family disputes, questions of succession, and the role of historical and ecclesiastical institutions are addressed.
Furthermore, the author’s perspective on the history of the House of Hohenzollern, the Vatican, as well as political and social developments in Germany and Europe is discussed. Christian Bernd will explain why he considers these topics important and why he advocates for a public discussion.

The program provides space for the presentation of his personal assessments and experiences. The aim is to ask questions, shed light on backgrounds, and give the viewers the opportunity to form their own opinions.
