About this video
🕊 Monday Conversation with Klaus and Uwe
How do we hear each other when we think differently?
In the conversation on October 12, it was also about giving the other space: listening, asking questions, and not immediately categorizing one’s thoughts.
We want to continue working on this.
What have I really heard?
What does it trigger in me?
And what do I conclude from it?
Did I want to understand, convince, or defend myself?
In a specific encounter, we want to observe how quickly a perception becomes an assumption about the other. We will also examine our own statements and our own share.
How can we contradict without devaluing?
Conversation?
What helps us to endure differences?
The relationship between the conversation partners is more important to us than being right.
Guiding question of this episode: How is what carries me internally visible in my dealings with the other?
For me personally, my faith carries this path:
Christ is my way.
Christ is my truth.
Christ is my peace.
Christ is my hope.
From my relationship with God, first and foremost with Maria Domina Animarum, I want to learn to listen attentively and to give the other their own space.
We will take about an hour. Your questions and experiences about listening and understanding are welcome in the live chat.
