# 🇨🇴 World Frequency Day 2026 – Two Cities. Two Stories. One Frequency.

Live from Bogotá: A musical journey through Colombia

On November 11, 2026, people worldwide will celebrate World Frequency Day. An initiative of the Frequency School, which aims to connect people across borders through music, sound, and shared moments of pause.

At OkiTALK, we take you on a special journey from the Colombian Caribbean coast to the Andes.

Two cities. Two musical stories. One shared frequency.

### What can you expect?

Una Misma Frecuencia – Cartagena

A warm morning on the Caribbean coast. The city awakens, music is in the air, and strangers meet. A story about joy of life, community, and the feeling of being connected.

Un Instante de Paz – Bogotá

An evening in the Andes. The lights of the big city, a cup of coffee, and a moment when the world slows down for a brief time. A musical story about attention, calm, and inner peace.

Both instrumental pieces were specially composed for this occasion by Tomal K. Ganguly and arranged with Colombian influences.

### Our guest from Colombia

Tomal K. Ganguly
is a violinist and internationally active consultant with German-Indian roots, now based in Bogotá.

Since the age of eight, the violin has accompanied him. From the Youth Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart to the Daimler Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra Liechtenstein-Werdenberg to the current Filarmónica Bacatá in Bogotá, music has remained a constant in his life.

Together with Colombian singer-songwriter Jerau, Tomal supports World Frequency Day as part of the Colombia Satellite.

### From Colombia to Paraguay to the World

In a conversation with Klaus Glatzel, the discussion revolves around how music connects people across cultures and generations and what role Colombia and Paraguay can play as part of this international movement.

Looking ahead is also part of it: How can musical encounters lead to long-term initiatives that particularly benefit children and young people?

### Music for the Next Generation

World Frequency Day is also a global fundraising initiative. The Frequency School Impact Initiative aims to facilitate access to music, mindfulness, and offerings for emotional well-being for young people in disadvantaged communities.

In a world full of technological changes and increasing speed, one question remains particularly important:

How do we preserve the ability to listen to each other, create something together, and feel connected as human beings?

We will discuss this live at OkiTALK on November 11.

Tuned In. Together.
