About this video
In her second book, the author, Kerstin Teifke (Ritwa), embarks on a quest for answers to the question of why her life seems to be in an endless loop of conflicts, rejection, failure, traumatic experiences, the craving for alcohol, and illnesses. With humor, a penchant for sarcasm, but also serious words, she reflects on her life from her birth, the resulting interpersonal dynamics, as well as her view of the world, including the so-called “Corona pandemic.” Ritwa takes her readers on a journey into the depths of her (sub)consciousness and describes her path from self-destruction and “the shit card of life” to self-awareness, self-love, and her responsibility to choose a life of joy, inner peace, health, and gratitude.
Kerstin was born in 1973 in the GDR. Until the reunification, she experienced the common stages of a socialist officer’s daughter and would never have thought to question anything. Neither the system nor herself. High performance pressure, the search for success, recognition, appreciation, and love, and constant efforts to meet the expectations of her fellow human beings led to sometimes severe traumatic experiences. Physical and mental “illnesses” were the result. She has been a trained psychological counselor and author since 2019.
