About this video

What happens when we truly reconnect?

Marvin Steinberg is an entrepreneur, free spirit, and someone who learned early on to view things from a different perspective.

Growing up with spiritual parents and in a rather unconventional environment, alternative viewpoints were part of life for him from the very beginning. Health, society, spirituality, and the big questions of life were questioned, discussed, and viewed from different angles.

This imprint accompanies him to this day.

One of the great challenges of our time, according to Marvin, is that we are technically better connected than ever before, yet many people lack genuine relationships, deep conversations, and an environment in which they feel understood and belonging.

So what would be possible if the right people were to find each other again?

This question gave rise to WeAreReal.

The vision behind it goes far beyond a community. It is about connecting people who think differently, take new paths, and want to create something together.

In a short time, more than 54,000 people and co-creators have come together.

However, genuine connection should not only take place digitally.

On October 18th, this vision will be made tangible at the Real Family and Friends Festival in Salzburg.

Already, more than 1,800 people have registered to come together on that day, to meet in person, to create new connections, and to experience together what can emerge from a community when digital contacts become real encounters.

For Marvin, this holds enormous power.

When people form genuine connections, friendships, partnerships, businesses, projects, and new communities emerge. Thoughts become shared ideas, and from ideas, something can arise that truly makes a difference.

For when people find each other and act together, they can take new paths – in health and education, in economy and society, and also in the way we think about politics and coexistence. They can question existing structures, develop their own solutions, and actively shape the world in which they want to live.

Meanwhile, this vision is taking another step further.

What has been built for adults is now also being developed for children.

As a father, this is a very personal matter for Marvin. Because at some point, the question arises:

In what world should our children actually grow up?

Children also need genuine friendships, community, and an environment in which they can develop freely and meet people with whom they feel connected.

That is precisely why the idea behind WeAreReal is now also being thought further for the next generation.

And perhaps that is exactly the reason why the Real Family and Friends Festival is meant to be more than a classic event.

On October 18th, adults, families, and children from the community will come together in one place in Salzburg.

More than 1,800 people have already said: We are in.

Perhaps the great changes in our world begin much smaller than we think.

With a conversation.

With an encounter.

With people who realize that they share the same questions, values, or visions.

And perhaps with a new generation that experiences from the very beginning the power that lies in genuine community.

Real change arises from real connection.

For us, for our children, and for the Earth on which we live together.
