Our mission: to create peace without weapons
This year, the MiRA Dance mission is entirely focused on Slavic-Vedic culture. We want to highlight the deep wisdom and magic of these traditions and accompany participants on a journey towards self-empowerment and self-efficacy. Our vision remains to break down barriers between art consumers and artists, giving everyone the opportunity to unleash their creative potential and discover the artist within themselves.
The festival grounds, which border one of the largest military training areas in Europe (TÜPL), provide a unique backdrop for the collective dance of world peace – the centerpiece of our festival. We firmly believe that the path to peace is not achieved through struggle, but through shared joy and harmony. The collective dance of world peace will be – a beautiful symbol of unity and peace within and without. Through this communal dance, we want to make the connecting power of art and the importance of peaceful coexistence tangible.
Our festival will offer a vibrant mix of free and guided dances, singing circles, performance improvisations, workshops, and in-depth lectures and discussions on Vedic knowledge.
