Kick-off event for the Child Protection Congress 2025
On January 24, 2025, at 7 PM, the organizers will present themselves and their intentions, as well as the
backgrounds of the congress.

The organizers are:

Steffen Padberg and Alexander Hausmann from the Truth Academy and the very successful
Truth Congresses, Elmicaella, who is a well-known child protection expert on the Internet and former
legal guardian, and Mira Feist, alternative practitioner for psychotherapy and families, violence protection trainer, and
congress organizer of the Happiness Congresses.

Child protection concerns us all – it is about our children and thus about our future!
Did you know that child protection is much more than just keeping children safe from obvious dangers?

It is not only about preventing violence and abuse – child protection also includes
protection from hidden dangers, such as emotional neglect, cyberbullying, or
health burdens from an overstimulated and stressful environment.
Did you know that in Germany alone, every third child is affected by psychological burdens?

Stress in the family, pressure to perform in school, or improper handling of social media
can massively impair the mental health of children. Additionally, there is the growing
danger in the digital space: cyberbullying, grooming (targeted contact by
adults with bad intentions), or the consumption of inappropriate content are often difficult
to recognize – and yet have profound effects.
Isn’t that alarming?

Have you ever thought about the fact that children are exposed to risks in many everyday situations
that we as adults often do not even notice? Whether it is the danger from toxic
household products, unsecured access to the Internet, or the influence of toxic relationships
and conflicts in their environment. Each of these topics can impair a child’s
development – and sometimes parents do not know where to start.
Child protection also means promoting resilience!

Children need not only protection from dangers but also support to become strong and
resilient themselves. A loving, stable environment, clear rules, and open communication
are important building blocks to strengthen them. Because the better children understand the world around them
and are prepared for challenges, the better they can protect themselves.
In our livestream at Oki Talk and subsequently in our Child Protection Congress,
we will take a look at all aspects of child protection – from prevention against violence and
abuse, to safe handling of digital media, to strengthening
self-confidence and emotional health.

We will not only name the dark sides,
but also provide you with tools to protect and support your children.
