🕊️ MONDAY TALK – I ACCEPT YOU AND CAN STILL DISAGREE WITH YOU
🗓 Monday, November 9, 2026 | 5:00 PM German time
📍 Live again at the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin
🎙 With Klaus and Uwe on OKITalk
Remaining with God and acting responsibly – we discussed this in the last Monday talk.
This time we want to take a closer look:
How does this lead to a good interaction with one another?
I want to respect other people.
But do I really hear what he says?
Or do I only hear my own image of him?
And when we disagree:
How can I disagree without belittling him?
How can I accept a correction without feeling rejected as a person?
Three questions accompany us:
- Listening instead of assuming
How do I ask for clarification before I consider my assumption a fact? - Correcting without belittling
How do we address mistakes and give the other person space to explain and change? - Yielding or standing firm
When is it wise to walk away from a dispute?
When does a clear word or help for a person being pressured become necessary?
This also concerns our boundaries:
I want to help. But I do not have unlimited strength.
May I say no and still remain open?
May I need help myself?
We start with ourselves – at the kitchen table, in the family, among friends, and in encounters on the street.
For me, my faith is part of it:
finding support in God and passing on that support through listening, helping, and acting responsibly.
Our common thread:
I am here.
You are here.
God is here.
In conclusion, we ask:
What small step can we try until next Monday?
Be there.
Listen, ask questions, and bring your experiences.
🙏 God’s protection and blessing on all paths.
