About this video

My path to freedom did not begin easily.
It began with gratefully difficult conditions.
I was born without a father.

At three years old, I went to foster parents,
at four years old to a suicidal grandmother.
At twelve, I returned to my mother for a few months –
only to shortly end up with foster parents again.
There, I was exposed to sexual abuse for years.
At 18, I moved out.

This was followed by a relationship with a significantly older man
and an unwanted pregnancy.
I lived in an unfulfilled marriage with a child for six years,
until I separated at 25 and preferred nothing to the accustomed misery.

I lived on a horse ranch with a friend
and lost my son to my ex-partner.
Then I met a man, built a career
and after three years, my son returned to me.
This was followed by five years of relative stability
and material success.

But when this relationship ended,
I once again faced nothing.
This time, my son, my professional success, and my sport – the 24-hour swimming –
were my supports in life.
I met another man, founded my own company,
bought a house in Hungary, and at 42, I had my second son.
I believed I had arrived. I believed I was happy.

But after nine years, the inevitable returned – and this time more comprehensively than ever before.
My relationship broke down, my life fell apart, and my health was at risk.
In 2020, I received the diagnosis of breast cancer.
But this time, something was different. My awareness had expanded.
And that was exactly what helped me maintain my courage to live as everything around me truly dissolved.
Years of homelessness and odd jobs followed.

Until in 2025, the opportunity arose to finally leave my old life behind
and follow the increasingly loud call for travel and freedom.
Today, I dedicate my life to spirituality and speed traveling.
My path has led me through Thailand and India to here – to Nepal.

And I know today:
Freedom does not begin where
everything is good.
But where we stop running away from ourselves.
